An Old Bailey judge has told 41 year old Naveed Ahmed from Merton Avenue Northolt he faces life imprisonment for the murder of his wife Tahira in May last year.
She died from multiple injuries and had been decapitated.
Ahmed was arrested after fleeing the house and was stopped by officers in nearby Pilgrims Close.
They noticed he had blood stains on his coat and was sweating heavily.
He changed his plea to guilty of murder in a brief hearing before judge Christopher Moss QC today.
He’s been remanded in custody until January 28th when the judge will determine the minimum term of his life sentence.
