This Thursday, film fans can look forward to the release of Kingsman : The Secret Service, a new action film with a hint of comedy.
The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn, whose previous works include Kick-Ass and X-Men:First Class.
The film also stars Colin Firth and Michael Caine, both BAFTA and Golden Globes award winning actors.
20th Century Fox’s website describes the film:
Based upon the acclaimed comic book … Kingsman: The Secret Service tells a story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined, but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
And for the younger audience, a new Disney animated movie, Big Hero 6 is in cinemas this Friday.
It is an adventurous and amusing story between an inflatable robot named Baymax and a young prodigy named Hiro Hamada saving the city of San Francisco.
Don’t worry if you haven’t seen any of the five previous films, because there weren’t any! Big Hero 6 is actually the name of the team of that Hiro and Baymax form.
For some drama-comedy blended with crime, Trash, a co-production from the UK and Brazil, will also be released on Friday.
The film, which already has a BAFTA nomination, should bring a hint of South American warmth this winter.
The film is still in cinemas, should you want to catch it.
