The Met Police in Bromley have seized 600 cannabis plants after executing a drug warrant at a farmhouse in Chelsfield.
They describe it as a ‘huge cannabis factory’ that could have yielded £250,000 a year in drug sales.
No-one was present at the property at the time of the raid.
A 26-year-old woman who arrived during the search has been arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis at an address in Orpington.
Sergeant Paul Law said:
This is a great result following concerns raised by the community. We will continue to act on information given to us by local residents and tackle the causes of crime on our borough.
