The Met Police are appealing for information after a cyclist died following a collision with a lorry in Homerton.
The police and London Ambulance Service were called to attend to reports of a cyclist being in collision with a heavy goods vehicle at 4.20 yesterday afternoon in Homerton High Street at the junction with Mcintosh Lane, Hackney.
A 34-year-old man was suffering from critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene a short while later.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is urging witnesses and anyone with information to call police on 0208-543-5157.

A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
No arrests have been made. The driver of the HGV stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.
