Originally a Korean poem by award-winning poet Kim Kyung-Ju, the feature is a sonic exploration inspired by and intermingled with the mysterious and imaginative text, read in both English and Korean. Metaphors of nature in nature are reinvented against the backdrop of the city — the river as an escalator, the sounds of the helicopter’s propellers as a stirring ‘blurred wind’.

This feature explores ‘language’ — the conveying of meaning and expression of ideas. Can they be fully retold in another tongue? What is our common language?
