Four men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Alan Cartwright who was stabbed to death while riding his bike in the Caledonian Road in Islington on Friday night- the 27th February.
- An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after attending a north London police station at around 6:15 am Thursday morning (5th March).
- A 21-year-old man was arrested Wednesday morning (4th March) at a residential address in Camden. He is in custody at a central London police station.
- An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder in the early hours Wednesday after attending a north London police station. He remains in custody at a north London police station.
- A 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of murder Wednesday morning at a residential address in Camden. He has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in mid-April.
Enquiries by Homicide and Major Crime Command detectives continue.

Since the murder a shrine of remembrance has developed at the scene of his death.
This includes a white painted bike covered in photographs of Alan with his friends and family and messages have been written on the pavement and tied onto lamp posts.
One tribute referred to a ‘perfect, polite young man’ and another observed: ‘I remember your sense of fun and the sweet boy on his bike.’
Other objects have been left as symbols of his life and include pints of milk, packets of Oreos, mini eggs, Doritos, and Haribo sweets.
