This Friday two animation films will be available in London cinemas for the younger audience.

The first one is brought by DreamWorks, Home, the adventure of Oh, an alien creature on Earth, and his encounter with Tip, a human girl.

The story is about accepting the differences of each individual and exploring the meaning of home.

Jim Parsons, famous for his role of Sheldon in The Big Bang Theory ,will give his voice for Oh and Rihanna will voice Tip. Other members of the cast include Steve Martin and Jennifer Lopez.

The second film, in an unusual hand-drawn style, is The Tale of Princess Kaguya, by Studio Ghibli.

The film retells a famous Japanese folklore about a couple who found a little girl inside a glowing bamboo shoot. The young girl has to confront a difficult destiny with charm and forbearance.

Studio Ghibli is famous for producing successful Japanese animation movies, such as Spirited Away or The Wind Rises.

For fans of action movies, the sci-fi thriller Insurgent will be the film to watch out for in this Friday’s cinema releases.

It is the second of the Divergent series, based on the trilogy by Veronica Roth. Like the previous story, the sequel is set in post-apocalyptic Chicago.

At last, Ryan Reynolds stars in The Voices, a crime-com involving some aspects of Freudian psychology analysis.

Some tickets can still be purchased before the opening of the BFI Flare: London LGBT Film Festival on this Thursday, including the closing night party and the film Out to Win of the closing night gala.
