Officers from Croydon who were looking for missing 10-year-old Malakhi Chijiutomi-Ghosh have reported he’s been found in Hertfordshire.

He was spotted by an off-duty police officer and taken to hospital ‘as a precautionary measure.’

The Met Police thanked the media and public for their assistance.

He was reported having  ‘run away’ from his home in Thornton Heath at around 1 am this morning.

Malakhi suffers from Adrenal Hyperplasia and requires medication three times per day.

It was vital that he was found so he could have his medication.

By lunch-time the Met Police issued an updated appeal warning ‘Having received no medication today there is a very real chance that he may have already fallen into a coma.’
