A win away from home for Chelsea, as Cesc Fabregas slots an 88th minute winner against QPR.
The win puts Chelsea 7 points clear at the top of the table.
Chelsea failed to register a single shot on target in the first half.
QPR’s Matt Phillips wasted an excellent chance in the second half, but that was as close as the home side came before Fabregas secured the points for Chelsea.
Manchester United 4 – 2 Manchester City
Man United put four goals past their city rivals in the derby at Old Trafford.
Sergio Aguero opened accounts early for City on 8 minutes, however United were level just 6 minutes later through Ashley Cole’s short range effort.
Marouane Fellaini’s header put the home team ahead going into halftime.
Juan Mata added a third, followed by Chris Smalling after the restart.
Aguero pulled one back for Man City, but there was no stopping Louis Van Gaal’s men.
The loss sees City’s title hopes dashed, and the pressure is mounting on Manuel Pellegrini.
Cricket
Pietersen grabs 170 on return his to cricket for Surrey against Oxford MCCU.
His performance will give the England selectors something to think about ahead of their first test against the West Indies in Antigua on Monday.

Mercedes records one-two in Shanghai as Hamilton and Rosberg clash.
Lewis Hamilton recorded a confident victory for Mercedes at the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai.
His Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg was second.
However following the race Rosberg publicly criticized Hamilton accusing him of backing up.’
Rosburg believed that Hamilton drove just quick enough to keep Vettel at bay and used him to cover the Ferrari driver.
The British World champion was quick to deny the claim, saying he was thinking only of his own race.
The win extends Hamilton a 13 point lead at the top of the championship, with Vettel in second, and Rosberg in third.
