A 61 year old man from Wembley has appeared in court and been remanded in custody charged with possessing explosives and ammunition.
Khalid Rashad from Monks Park Drive, was charged by detectives from the Met Police Counter Terrorism Command (SO15) who’ve been investigating the murder of preacher and former Imam Abdul Hadi Arwani on the 7th of April.
Rashad appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates Court (Saturday 25th April) accused of ‘possession of an explosive substance for an unlawful purpose and possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.’
He’s been remanded in custody to appear at Harrow Crown Court on Monday, 27th April.
