Watford FC have been promoted to the Premiership after securing enough points to guarantee first or second position.
They were wholly dependent on their London rivals Fulham defeating Middlesbrough at Craven Cottage.
They’d taken maximum points by winning two goals to nil in the early kick-off away to Brighton and Hove Albion.
The three o’clock kick-off at Fulham turned into a nail-biting match.
Fulham were continually taking the lead only to be pegged back and with minutes- perhaps seconds left of added time before the referee blew the final whistle the home side scored a fourth goal to make it 4-3.
