Around 60 LFB firefighters and many local Lewisham police officers have been tackling a very large warehouse in Deptford causing road and rail closures.
The London Fire Brigade say the blaze in Trundleys Road is now under control and they are in the process of ‘damping down.’
Local police say the fire incident in the Surrey Canal Road area is still ‘ongoing’ and advise commuters to avoid routes going through there by road or rail.
