A disused part of Charing Cross Station will become a pop up cinema from 29th May.
To celebrate the tube becoming a 24 hour service from September, Transport For London and The Underground Film Club have got together to host a series of train related movies, complete with popcorn stands, hot dog stands and directors’ chairs on the platforms.
Gerry Cottle Jnr from The Underground Film Club said:
TFL asked us to get involved with a series of events after they saw what we did at The Vaults in Waterloo over Christmas. Charing Cross Station is absolutely amazing. To get access to it is unbelievable, and a once in a lifetime opportunity.
