Jose Mourinho has won his third Premier League title with Chelsea.
The Blues defeated Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are 16 points clear at the top with 3 games to go.
They’ve totally dominated the Premiership this season.
This is Chelsea’s 5th title in their long history situated in Fulham- actually on the border of real Chelsea.
They first won the first tier in English football in 1955.
Their manager- the Portuguese Jose Mourinho- has the remarkable record of having won eight titles with four different clubs, in four different countries in only 12 years.
Chelsea’s success is undoubtedly also due to the multi-billion pound investment by the club’s owner- the Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.
He may have long pockets, but this year through transfer dealings and club revenue he has been ‘able to balance the books,’ rather than run the club as an egotistic loss-maker.
