Lucy Hall Independent candidate for Bermondsey and Old Southwark

In this fourth instalment of our guide to fringe political parties and independents at the 2015 general election Londonmultimedianews met independent candidate Lucy Hall.

Ms Hall is standing in the constituency of Bermondsey and Old Southwark.

In the interview Ms Hall explains how her campaign aims to champion the concept of direct democracy.

This would pioneer the use of a smartphone app, enabling constituents to choose on how their MP should vote in the House of Commons.

Ms Hall is also promoting greater political education, to enable constituents to make informed decisions.

A former volunteer for the Labour party, Ms Hall helped to work on Ed Miliband’s election campaign.
