The man who died in a fatal collision in Barnet last week has been identified as 74 year old John Paddick.
He was killed when his Ford Fiesta collided with a route 189 bus in Templehof Avenue on Wednesday 29th of April.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found Mr Paddick, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The bus driver stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.
Two passengers who were on the bus at the time of the collision were taken to a north London hospital after sustaining minor injuries.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw the silver Fiesta in the time leading up to the collision or anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Alperton are investigating.
