Police have responded to reports at 8.16 this morning of a man on a ledge near Brixton Police Station.
London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade also attended on the scene.
He came down voluntarily at 9.40am after being spoken to by officers.
The man was not injured during the incident but he’s been taken to hospital as a precaution.
Brixton Road was completely shut between the junctions with Stockwell Road and Stockwell Park Walk, with several buses being rerouted.

Buses in the Brixton area are delayed up to twenty minutes due to a Police investigation on Stockwell Road, SW9.
