The motorcyclist who was killed in a collision in Sutton has been named as 32 year old Ronald James Mayers from South Croydon.
Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses to the incident.
Police were called around 6.45 pm on Thursday the 23rd of April after a transit van was in collision with a motorcycle on the A217 Belmont Rise at the junction with Northdown Road.
Ronald, the rider of the motorcycle, ‘was pronounced dead at the scene.’
The male driver of the van stopped and made himself available to the police attending.
He was not arrested.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Merton are investigating.
