Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an attempted rape in Barking.
At around 8.30 am on Sunday the 3rd of May, a woman in her 20s was approached by two men in an underpass beneath the Barking Northern Relief Road.
One of the men grabbed the woman around her upper body while the second man exposed himself to her.
She was able to run from the scene and the men did not follow.
Shortly afterwards she reported the assault to police a short time later.
The two suspects are described to be white men wearing black clothing.
They spoke in a language which was not English.
