A 24 year old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after an assault in Islington which left a 28 year old man in critical condition in hospital.
Jordan Rhys Davis, of Hilldrop Estate, was arrested on Saturday the 9th of May, and charged with GBH the following day.
He’s due to appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court tomorrow Monday 11th of May.
The victim of the assault was found by officers at 8.15 AM on Saturday morning.
They discovered him in York Way near the junction with Vale Royal, suffering head injuries.
An ambulance attended the scene and the man was taken to an East London hospital, where he remains.
Officers from Islington CID are investigating the incident and have put out an appeal for witnesses to the incident.
