A man has been rescued by firefighters earlier this afternoon after the entire second floor of an end of terrace house, under construction, collapsed.
LFB appliances were called to the scene at six minutes past three.
Fire engines from Southall and Ealing fire stations and fire rescue units from Battersea and Croydon fire stations have been at the scene.
The incident took place on Grosvenor Road in West Ealing.
London Fire Brigade’s urban search and rescue crews, ‘ like those that recently travelled to Nepal’, rescued a man from the debris after searching the building.
Paramedics took him to hospital with another man being treated for minor injuries.
