A Goldsmiths Student Union Welfare officer has come under fire in the media after holding an event which excluded white men.
Her defence of her position has continued to be at the centre of controversy and criticism.
Emily Browne reports:
Bahar Mustafa’s justification for her position at a Goldsmiths student assembly was first reported by the East London Lines website on Wednesday 6th May.
East London Lines is also produced by students studying journalism in the Department of Media and Communications.
The story was picked up this week by the Independent and Standard newspapers.
