Police have released a CCTV image today of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the sexual assault of a 20 year old woman in central London.

The incident happened at just after 7 am on the 29th March this year.

It occurred when the woman made her way to work in Bedford Place, Bloomsbury WC1.

As the woman walked passed Bloomsbury Square, the suspect began to follow her.

The man followed her down a set of steps leading to her workplace and sexually assaulted her before fleeing the scene.

Detective Constable Arif Sheikh from Camden CID, who is leading the investigation, said:

I am appealing for anyone who recognises this person to come forward and speak to police. The victim was followed to her place of work and was subjected to a shocking attack.
