Brentford FC may have crashed out by losing 0-3 to Middlesbrough at the Riverside and missed going to the Wembley play-off final, but their 1,522 Brentford fans earned the respect of the soccer world with their chanting and support ringing out to the last second of the match.
Middlesbrough win 5-1 on aggregate, but the score-line does not reflect the quality of Brentford’s football, its team and remarkable success this season.
They were only promoted from League One last season and have managed to knock loudly on the door of the Premiership.
