A 16-year-old boy from Deptford detained by the Met Police has been accused of accused of attempted murder.
The unnamed teenager is also accused of possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
The charges arise from a shooting in New Cross at 2.38 am in the early hours of Saturday morning 16th May.
The Met Police say a 25 year old man was found with gunshot wounds to the chest.
He was in a critical condition, but has now improved to being described as stable.
The 16 year old has been remanded in custody to appear before Bromley Magistrates Court today.
