Police have seized nearly 13 kilos of cocaine and arrested four suspected drug dealers following a proactive operation in east and north London.

Detectives from the Met’s Serious and Organised Crime Command arrested a 37 year old man  in possession of approximately two kilos of cocaine in Fox Lane, Southgate, at around 5.15 pm on Tuesday, the 19th of May.

Another man, who’s 40, was arrested nearby.

Officers then executed a warrant at a nearby address and seized a further approximately 11 kilos of cocaine and a quantity of cash.

The two men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine and have been taken to an east London police station pending further enquiries.

Yesterday evening, two other men, both in their 30s, were also arrested in Hackney and Finchley on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine.

They’ve been taken to an east London police station.

Enquiries continue.
