Ninth man charged with involvement in Hatton Garden burglary

Flying Squad detectives investigating the Hatton Garden burglary have charged a ninth man in connection with the investigation.

42 year old John Harbinson of Beresford Gardens, Benfleet, Essex appeared in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday 22nd May charged with conspiracy to burgle.

Harbinson was arrested on Thursday, taken into police custody and charged on the same day eight other men were remanded in custody accused of the same offence.

They are:

Terry Perkins -67- of Heene Road, Enfield

John Collins -74- of Blestoe Walk, N1

Daniel Jones -58- of Park Avenue, Enfield EN1

Hugh Doyle -48- of Riverside Gardens, EN2

William Lincoln -59- of Winkley Street, E2

Brian Reader -76- of Dartford Road, Dartford

Paul Reader -50- of Dartford Road, Dartford

Carl Wood -58-  of Elderbeck Close, Cheshunt

They were remanded in custody to appear at Southwark Crown Court on Thursday 4th June.
