Detectives from the Trident and Area Crime Command have released images of a husband and wife they wish to trace in connection with an attempted murder.
Detectives wish to speak with 59 year old Patrick Adams and 54 year old Constance Adams in relation to a 2013 shooting in Islington.
At approximately 10:00 am on 22nd December 2013 the victim, who was 51-years-old at the time, was sitting in his black BMW X5 on Wyclif Street at the junction with St John Street, EC1.
He was approached by a man and woman.
He was shot in the chest by the man.
He was taken by London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital where he was treated for his injuries for over a month before being discharged.
Detectives would like to interview Mr and Mrs Adams about this attempted murder.
It’s believed they fled the country soon after the shooting.
It’s possible that they are living in Holland or Spain.
European Arrest Warrants have been obtained for the pair.
Detective Inspector Glenn Butler, from the Met’s Trident and Area Crime Command, said:
I am appealing for anyone with information about where the Adams’ are living to contact us as a matter of urgency. It is apparent by the nature of this violent crime that they need to be traced and interviewed by police.
We treat any information that is passed to us with the greatest of confidence.
Anyone with information is asked to contact officers via 0208 358 0711, 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
