New Zealand won the second test match with England by 199 runs.
The test series is now drawn at 1-1.
The traditional English rain did not pour down intensively enough to rescue the three lions cricketers from defeat by the Black Caps.
But England were generous enough to recognise that this was a match won fairly, squarely and skilfully by effective New Zealand bowling.
There’s all to play for in the test series.
And England will take a landmark moment for Alastair Cook.
In this test math he became the youngest player in history to reach 9000 Test runs.
