A corner shop on the Hornsey Road in Upper Holloway has been very badly damaged by fire.
The blaze spread throughout the ground floor of the end-of-terrace shop.
Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers from Hornsey, Holloway, West Hampstead, Euston, Tottenham and Islington fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 2.54 pm yesterday afternoon and the fire was under control by 4.12 pm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
