A 26 year old woman cyclist has died after a collision with a tipper truck at the Bank junction in the City of London this morning.
City of London police officers and medics from the London Ambulance Service all did their best to provide emergency treatment but she was overcome by her ‘life-threatening’ injuries.
Commuters and witnesses to the incident reported being extremely shocked and shaken by what they had seen.
Many used social media to say prayers and express hopes for the cyclist’s survival.
This turned to sorrow and condolences for her family.
