The Met Police have released CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with an assault on a passenger travelling on a bus in Westminster.
The incident took place 12th March at 3.38 pm on board a route 73 bus.
It’s believed to have been connected with a dispute over a priority seat.
The victim, a 22-year-old woman who has osteoporosis, was sitting in the priority seating area at the front of the bus.
As she got up to leave the bus at Great Titchfield Street, it’s alleged the suspect elbowed her hard in the stomach, causing her to fall back onto the floor.
The victim later went to hospital and was treated for a suspected broken rib.
The suspect is described as a woman of Mediterranean appearance, aged about 60, with short grey hair, wearing glasses and using a wheeled walking frame.
