Hundreds of fans have cheered Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe as he was inducted into the Star Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
The London born actor paid tribute to his parents for ‘getting him through’ the intense journey of his career as a professional actor since the age of 10.
He was joined by director Chris Columbus, who directed him in the first two movies and served as a producer on three.
Many of the hundreds of fans congratulating him also wore Hogwarts scarves.
Since taking on one of the lead roles in the Harry Potter franchise, Daniel has developed an acclaimed and respected career as an adult actor in film and theatre.
His contribution to public life includes support for many charities, including Demelza Hospice Care for Children.
He also supports The Trevor Project for suicide prevention among LGBTQ youth, which gave him its Hero Award in 2011.
