This year on World AIDS Day, the National AIDS Trust has collaborated with Attitude Magazine and LGBT club Sink The Pink to set up a pop-up kissing booth in Soho Square.
The unconventional concept was part of the NAT’s ReThink HIV campaign, as well as being one of many events held on December 1 to raise awareness about the condition.
Research has shown that 16% of the UK public still believe that HIV can be spread by kissing.
The mission of this quirky event was to debunk myths about HIV such as this one, and reduce the stigma attached to the disease.
