With the UK ranking as one of the highest producers of food waste in Europe a London brewery has come up with an innovative new way to make use of some of the country’s leftovers.
Hackney Brewery have created Toast, a new ale brewed using leftover crusts and loaves.
They’re in partnership with food waste charity Feedback.
We spoke to Hackney Brewery director Jon Swain to find out just how you go from bread to beer.
