If you’d rather spend the romantic holiday with your beloved pet than with another human, you’re in luck!

You can head to London’s first restaurant especially for people and their canine companions.

MicroChippy in Clerkenwell has teamed up with the Fitzrovia based hot-dog and champagne bar Bubbledogs to create a pop-up eatery.

Dog owners and their furry friends can enjoy a special meal together over the Valentines weekend.

Four 45-minute sittings will be available each day at 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm on the 13th and 14th of February 2016.

Tickets cost £12 for each human and dogs dine for free.

Booking is essential and includes a hotdog, a side and a beverage and a special doggy hot-dog for mutts. (Bookings and more information can be found here)

The best thing about this doggy diner is that all the proceeds go to the Dog’s Trust and it’s being done to raise awareness about the changing laws in microchipping for pets.

But what does microchipping mean for you and your doggy date?
