The actor Shia Lebeouf is spending 24 hours in a lift in Oxford with two other performance artists as part of their latest project #Elevate.
LaBeouf and his collaborators Nastja Säde Rönkkö and Luke Turner are in Oxford to speak at the Union on Friday evening.
They will leave to do the talk across town and will return to the lift at EC Oxford, an English language course centre in Gloucester Green, for the night.
The stint will end at 9 am on Saturday.
A live audio and video feed is being broadcast inside the union debating chamber for the duration of the event and is being streamed on Youtube.

Students and fans are queuing through the square for the chance to meet Shia LeBeouf and his collaborators.
The public are invited to stay in the lift for as long as they want and to ask the artists anything.
Some have been queuing for more than four hours and still have not yet reached the building’s front door.
