Beatles fans rejoice, as a rare recording of one of their first hits has been found after fifty years.
It had been left in a loft of all places.
Les Maguire made the discovery.
He was delighted to discover the 45 rpm disc in good condition after being forgotten for decades.
The vinyl features two songs: ‘Hello Little Girl’ and ‘Til There was You.’
These were recorded at London’s flagship HMV store on Oxford Street in 1962.
Mr. Maguire said the rare edition was a ‘special piece’ and ‘a one-off.
He’s hoping that the money that is made from selling it at auction will go towards a house deposit for his granddaughter.
It’s predicted the vinyl will fetch around £10,000 or even more at auction next month.
The ‘Holy Grail item’ will be on sale at Omega Auctions in Warrington on March 22.
