Donald Trump’s adviser says he thinks David Cameron should apologise for his comments about the Republican presidential hopeful.

The Prime minister described Mr. Trump as being ‘divisive, stupid and wrong.’

Donald Trump won last night’s primary in Indiana and his rival Ted Cruz stepped out of the race.

This clears the way clear for Mr. Trump to become the presidential candidate for the Republican Party.

In his winning speech he thanked Mr. Cruz.

Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton but despite his victory, it’s unlikely he will catch Mrs. Clinton in the race to become the Democratic nominee.
