2021 Golden Globes: Full List of Nominations

The awards season is now officially in session with the Golden Globe nominations kicking it off this afternoon. 

Taraji P. Henson and Sarah Jessica Parker hosted the award stream.

The highlights included Mank getting 6 nominations, The Trial of the Chicago 7 getting 5 nominations as well as Nomadland, Promising Young Woman and The Father receiving 4 each.

The 78th Golden Globes will be hosted at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on February 28 2021.

The ceremony will see comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler returning to host after presenting the event in 2013, 2014 and 2015. 

The award nominations also saw a lot of British talent get celebrated including Carey Mulligan in Promising Young Woman, Olivia Colman in The Crown, Daniel Kaluuya in Judas and the Black Messiah, Dev Patel in The Personal History of David Copperfield and Riz Ahmed in Sound of Metal.

This year’s biggest snubs include Michaela Coel’s I May Destroy You, Paul Mescal as Connell in Normal People, Zendaya in Malcolm & Marie as well as Netflix’s viral sensation Bridgerton.

The previously announced honorary awards went to Jane Fonda who won the Cecil B. deMille Award for “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment” and Norman Lear who won the Carol Burnett Award for “outstanding contributions to television on or off screen”.
